Public Procurement Rules 2004, Rule 43: all procuring agencies must make prompt payments against invoices or running bills within the time given in contract conditions, which shall not exceed 30 days.

Pakistan has no statutory late payment interest rate for public procurement. Unsettled payment claims are resolved through arbitration under PPRA Rule 45(2).
