The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 106-VIII of 1 July 2024 ‘On Public Procurement’ replaced the previous Law No. 434-V of 2015. New procurement rules were approved by Minister of Finance Order No. 687 (9 October 2024). The law streamlines tender procedures, improves quality requirements, and enhances support for domestic producers.
