Government Regulation (PP) No. 29 of 2021 on Trade Implementation, Article 95, requires modern retail stores to pay micro, small, and medium enterprise (UMKM) suppliers in cash or within 15 days of receipt of all invoicing documents. Non-cash payment is only permitted if interest and risk costs do not disadvantage the supplier. Supplier trade fees capped at 15% under Permendag 23/2021 Article 11.
