Etosha Thurman

Chief marketing & solutions officer, SAP intelligent spend and business network

Etosha Thurman is the Chief Marketing & Solutions Officer for SAP Intelligent Spend and Business Network. In her role, Etosha is charged with strengthening the company’s go-to-market approach and driving product marketing and solution management across SAP’s intelligent spend solutions and the SAP Business Network.

Previously, she was Head of Sales and Client Engagement with Capital One, where she led the Treasury Management sales team through transformational change with a focus on delivering an engaging and impactful customer experience. Etosha was originally with SAP from 2010 to 2019 in a variety of customer-facing and cloud roles with SAP and SAP Ariba.

With experience in software as a service, cloud commerce, financial services, customer success management and global materials procurement, Etosha is a collaborative, results-oriented client executive and strategic leader. She is a graduate of Florida A&M University and the University of Cincinnati and is a member of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Etosha resides with her family in the metro Atlanta area.

Jan Gilg

Chief Revenue Officer Americas & Global Business Suite and Member of the Extended Executive Board

Jan Gilg is a member of the SAP Extended Board and co-leads the global Customer Success Board area, which is responsible for the totality of SAP cloud revenue and customer growth. He also leads the SAP Americas region and has oversight of the global SAP Business Suite organization, which provides an end-to-end operating model from customer advisory for customers deciding on SAP technology, to sales of SAP cloud solutions, to customer success management and engagement.

Gilg has spent more than 18 years as an enterprise software executive. Before joining the SAP Extended Board, Gilg served as President and Chief Product Officer of Cloud ERP. In that role, he was responsible for Product Management, Product Marketing, Engineering and Operations for the entire flagship of the S/4HANA product suite, Supply Chain, Finance and Industry Solutions. He led the large-scale transformation of SAP S/4HANA Cloud into a market-leading SaaS offering, that contributes to approximately 27% of SAP’s cloud revenue and approximately 40% of SAP’s overall revenue.

Gilg has served in a variety of global and regional executive leadership roles at SAP. He previously spent nearly 10 years living in the United States, where he contributed to SAP’s cloud and portfolio strategy and helped to establish SAP’s Enterprise Architecture practice in North America. He has a deep customer-facing consulting, business development, value management, and pre-sales background having played instrumental roles in driving multi-million dollar deals for SAP in North America.

Gilg is based in New York City and holds a master’s degree in business information systems from Liechtenstein University.

Gilg is a member of the Board of Directors for Taulia, LLC.

Valerie (Val) Blatt

Chief revenue officer, SAP business network

As chief revenue officer for SAP Business Network, Val Blatt focuses on solutions that help SAP customers and their partners leverage the power of the network to improve collaboration and drive success. She is responsible for delivering on global revenue targets, defining go-to-market strategy, and influencing product strategy to maximize value for both buy and supply-side participants.

Prior to her current role, Val was general manager of the Small to Medium-sized Business (SMB) division of SAP Concur. In this role, she led a sales organization covering North America, EMEA, and Asia Pacific Japan. Before joining SAP Concur, Val spent 14 years with SAP Ariba. During her tenure with SAP Ariba, she ran the Ariba Network team, and later served as Global Vice President and General Manager of Cloud Services.

Val recently joined the Board of Directors for Taulia. She earned a bachelor’s degree in English from Westminster College, Pennsylvania. While at Westminster, her study abroad ignited her passion for global business. She and her husband Andy make their home just outside Pittsburgh with their two children, Aiden and Ashton.

Steffen Diel

Senior Vice President and Head of Global Treasury, SAP SE

Steffen Diel is Senior Vice President and Head of Global Treasury at SAP SE since October 1, 2014. He is responsible for all Treasury activities of the Group covering global cash management, corporate finance, financial risk management as well as Treasury solution related co-innovation and sales support.

Steffen joined SAP in 2006 as Head of Treasury Finance, a team within the Global Treasury organization of SAP, responsible for capital market topics, external funding, bank relationship management, Treasury-related reporting, and group-wide planning of financial income.

Prior to joining SAP, Steffen was Head of Finance/Treasury at a German listed mid-cap automotive supplier. He started his career at Deutsche Bank as a Relationship Manager. Steffen has a degree in International Business Administration from the Worms University of Applied Sciences.

Cedric Bru

CEO, Taulia

As Chief Executive Officer, Cedric drives growth, culture, and innovation. Since he joined Taulia in 2013, he has overseen a rapid expansion of the company’s business network, a tremendous broadening of its platform, and the embedding of AI capabilities to provide a superior customer experience. Cedric has over two decades of experience in the financial services and software industries, including roles at Syncada from Visa, Visa, and Hewlett-Packard. Cedric earned his MBA from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley.

Rene Ho

CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

As Chief Financial Officer, René oversees Product, Engineering, Delivery, Operations, and Support organizations. René also has responsibility for the administration of the company including Finance, Human Resource, Risk, and Legal functions. René has more than 25 years of experience in finance, operations and leadership roles in the United States and Asia.

Before joining Taulia, René took a break from the for-profit world and helped Goodwill of Silicon Valley develop its program to help adults with autism find meaningful work. René’s corporate experience includes managing the divisional finance staff at Visa to prepare the business units for what was, at the time, the largest IPO in the United States. René also spent 4 years in Asia managing the operations of Visa’s largest region outside the United States.

When not working, René spends time with his wife and two girls and when they are asleep, he can be found working out in his garage.

Danielle Weinblatt

CHIEF PRODUCT OFFICER

Danielle Weinblatt is Taulia’s Chief Product Officer, where she’s responsible for leading the Product team to further develop our product growth.

Danielle has an exemplary track record of leading product teams, which has included being the Executive Vice President of Product at 24/7 Software, the world’s leading Operations Management Platform for Leisure, Sports, and Entertainment; Chief Product Officer at Entelo, where she ran the integration of the ConveyIQ and Entelo solutions post-acquisition; and CEO and Head of Product of ConveyIQ, which was acquired by Entelo. Prior to Harvard Business School, Danielle was a Private Equity Associate at L Catterton focusing on growth capital and private equity investments. She began her career in Mergers & Acquisitions in Citi’s Investment Banking Division, where she was a top-ranked Analyst.

Danielle received an M.B.A. with Distinction from Harvard Business School and a B.S., summa cum laude, in Applied Economics from Cornell University. Danielle is highly proficient in Serbian. She currently sits on the Advisory Board of Visage and on the Board of Directors of Matrix Requirements, a Paris-based SaaS company specializing in reducing the regulatory burden of medical devices across the entire product lifecycle.

Samantha Blai

CHIEF OF STAFF

As Chief of Staff, Samantha is responsible for leading company goal setting, orchestrating initiatives, and facilitating communications. She began her journey at Taulia as part of the Customer Success team before stepping into her role as Chief of Staff.

Samantha has significant experience across finance and technology, having worked at various companies including Deutsche Bank and Oracle, across sales, account management, trade finance and cash management. Samantha holds a Masters in Conference Interpreting from Johannes Gutenberg University of Mainz and a BA in German-Spanish Studies from University of Regensburg. Samantha is fluent in Spanish, English, German and Polish.

Brady Cale

Chief Technology Officer

Brady is responsible for Taulia’s product delivery and operations. Leading our Operations and IT teams, he is focused on delivering best-in-class Working Capital Management solutions for our customers.

Prior to joining Taulia, Brady combined his technical and business acumen, serving in various senior leadership roles at ProvideCommerce, an e-commerce company based in San Diego, CA. As General Manager of Sincerely, a division of ProvideCommerce, he was responsible for overall business unit strategy, product and operations. Prior to this, he served as Chief Technology Officer for the full suite of ProvideCommerce brands (including ProFlowers, Sincerely, Personal Creations, Shari’s Berries and RedEnvelope) where he led the 175 person technology team and platform as the business rapidly scaled from $80 million in revenue to over $700 million.

When not working, you can find Brady chasing after his three toddlers with his wife, or out enjoying a Warriors or Giants game with his friends and family.

Steve McDermott

Chief Sales Officer

Steve McDermott is the Chief Sales Officer of Taulia. He is responsible for building and running a team of sales professionals that leverage new and existing partnerships to bring Taulia’s proven solutions to enterprises around the globe. He has more than 20 years of experience leading high-performing sales teams for Acquia, AgilOne, CSC, and Cloudera. Steve has a BA in economics from UCLA, and enjoys traveling, sporting and music events, and spending time with family and friends.

Dave Adams

Chief Customer Officer

As Chief Customer Officer, Dave engages cross-functionally within Taulia and externally with partners to ensure all customers maximize the value they get from Taulia’s solutions. Dave’s passions are people, radical candor and the fierce conversations that drive alignment and help deliver large, unambiguous results for customers.

Prior to joining Taulia, Dave was an executive with GT Nexus for over 15 years. His early career was with Accenture and prior to that he lived and worked in Tokyo with the Industrial Bank of Japan.

Dave’s got his undergraduate degree from Stanford University and his masters from the University of California at San Diego.

Beyond work, Dave enjoys activities that allow him to break a healthy sweat. This includes running, soccer, surfing and even a few less sweat inducing endeavors such as golf and pickleball.

Bob Glotfelty

Chief Growth Officer

As Chief Growth Officer, Bob is responsible for ensuring Taulia’s customers achieve their desired results. Bob oversees the go-to-market and operational teams that drive the growth of customer programs including Customer Success Management, Supplier Success, Network Marketing, Financial Operations, TTT Operations and Sales Operations.

Prior to joining Taulia in 2014, Bob was responsible for M&A at Bottomline Technologies and founded a marketing technology startup. Outside of work, Bob is an avid runner on a journey to complete a half marathon in every state.

Thomas Mehlkopf

General Manager, HEad of Working Capital COE (at SAP SE)

Thomas Mehlkopf is General Manager and Head of the Working Capital Management Center of Excellence at SAP. He is responsible for leading the Working Capital Management business for SAP and the close collaboration and coordination between SAP and Taulia. Thomas Mehlkopf oversees the strategic direction of marketing at Taulia and leads activities in the areas of business development, events, and corporate marketing.

Prior to his current role, Thomas spent the last 20 years in various finance and treasury consulting roles, leading finance and treasury transformation projects. In his last role, he was Chief of Staff to the Group CFO of SAP.

Thomas is fluent in Spanish and German and enjoys cycling and hiking in the Alps with his partner.

Darcy Douglas

VP Global Program Management

Darcy Douglas is an accomplished financial technology executive with over 25 years of experience in leading organizations. As Vice President of Global Program Management, she is responsible for overseeing the achievement of the company’s top growth initiatives and organizational goals. This includes identifying and managing cross-initiative dependencies, defining standards and processes for successful completion of those initiatives, and identifying and managing risk.

Darcy lead’s our company’s Sustainability initiative, driving efforts to create meaningful environmental, social, and individual sustainability programs. In this role, she oversees our sustainability strategy, employee engagement, and partnerships, ensuring our company remains a leader in corporate responsibility. Her efforts are focused on aligning these initiatives with our long-term business goals and creating a positive impact for both our employees and the communities we serve.

Darcy has a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Project Management and is a Project Management Professional (PMP). In her free time Darcy enjoys being in the mountains of Utah with all of the activities that those surroundings provide.

Michele Mooney

Vice President of Marketing

As Vice President of Marketing, Michele brings more than 20 years of hands-on marketing leadership with extensive experience in B2B marketing strategy, financial services and enterprise software.

Prior to joining Taulia, Michele led marketing for StreetShares, a MeridianLink company powering financial institutions with a leading fintech Saas platform in order to serve the full suite of digital business lending needs of their small business customers.

Additionally, she led the marketing efforts at Paymetric®, an SAP partner and global leader in integrated electronic B2B payments and secure enterprise data now owned by Worldpay®, supporting more than 500 of the world’s leading global brands.

Michele holds a B.B.A. in Marketing from Georgia Southern University. When not working, Michele enjoys time spent with her husband and son, as well as traveling with family and friends.

Wasif Raza

Managing Director, Global Head of Distribution

As the Global Head of Distribution at Taulia, Wasif leads all syndication and distribution activities, overseeing strategic partnerships with financial institutions and ensuring a diversified, sustainable, and cost-effective funding base for clients worldwide. He is instrumental in developing innovative funding structures to support Taulia’s growing suite of working capital finance solutions.

With over 26 years of experience in the financial services industry, Wasif has held key leadership positions across the banking, non-banking, and fintech sectors. His areas of expertise encompass corporate banking, financial institutions, trade finance, and transaction banking. A recognized authority in trade syndication and distribution, Wasif has previously held senior roles at Citibank and Greensill Capital before joining Taulia.

Dung Bui

Managing Director, Head of Enterprise EMEA

Dung Bui is Taulia’s Head of Sales for the EMEA region, where he oversees a team of sales professionals and consultants and manages our strategic partnerships and client engagements to maximize the value contribution of our state-of-the-art technology.

He has more than 20 years of experience in Cloud software and services. Prior to joining Taulia, Dung was the Chief Operating Officer of SAP’s Intelligent Spend & Business Network line of business in EMEA North.

In his spare time, he enjoys the French way of life with his wife and daughter and is always up for cycling with friends.

Steven Loranger

Head of Sales, North America

As Head of Sales for North America, Steven leads a team of sales professionals dedicated to delivering business value to enterprise clients through Taulia’s leading working capital solutions.

With two decades of experience at the intersection of financial services and technology solutions, Steven has consistently led high-performing sales teams, built enduring client relationships and delivered meaningful business results. His previous employers include a portfolio company of Blackstone, IBM Corporation and Ernst & Young. 

Steven has a MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business and a BS Industrial Engineering from Lehigh University. When not working, Steven enjoys traveling, cooking and spending time with family and friends.

Blake Evans

Global Head of Solution Consulting

As Global Head of Solution Consulting, Blake is responsible for driving connections between Taulia business value, products and services and our client’s needs. He oversees a team of global sales consultants and value advisors, actively meets clients, and uses his deep sales, domain experience, and technical expertise to provide quality services to our clients.

His previous sales and consulting experience include working with companies such as ReadSoft, Coca-Cola Enterprises, Greensill Capital, and YKK. Blake has an extensive background in working capital management, procure-to-pay, process automation, and 20+ years of experience with SAP and other ERP solutions and relationships. He previously led the North American Sales team for Taulia as well as managed the NA solution consulting team.

In his spare time, Blake enjoys reading, spending time and traveling with his family, as well as working and serving in his local church and community.

Hannah Winter

Vice President of People and Performance

As Vice President of People and Performance, Hannah oversees the human resource, program management, and enablement functions. She focuses on developing and supporting Taulia’s high-performance organization and individuals through talent management, training, and culture.

Before joining Taulia, Hannah created, launched, and oversaw an immersive learning program at the Stanford Graduate School of Business. The program enables student teams to address an immediate business need for an external organization, developing domain knowledge and skill sets essential for their careers. Prior to that, she held various roles at management consulting firm Strategic Decisions Group, which included Partner, Board Director, Chief People Officer, and Director of the Strategic Decision and Risk Management professional certificate program in collaboration with Stanford University, the Wharton School, and The University of Texas at Austin. She is co-author of the 2016 book Decision Quality: Value Creation from Better Business Decisions.

Hannah received an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and an MS and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.

Outside of work, she can be found traveling, spending time with family and friends, and exploring new hobbies that do not require hand-eye coordination.

Bart Selden

General Counsel

As General Counsel, Bart oversees legal matters for Taulia LLC and its subsidiaries worldwide, including contract relationships with customers, partners, and funding parties, protection of Intellectual Property, risk mitigation, and inter-company matters. As a partner in San Francisco law firms, Bart represented companies conducting business internationally, including Ebydos, where he met the eventual founders of Taulia, and various Internet startups.

Active in professional groups, Bart has held various leadership positions, including as Chair of the International Bar Association’s Corporate Counsel Forum and Co-Chair of the International Sales Committee. In addition to being a long-time Adjunct Professor at Golden Gate University School of Law in San Francisco, Bart has taught law school courses on International Business Transactions and on IP law in Italy, Germany, and the Czech Republic.

He is fluent in Italian, and if given the chance, he will often be found enjoying a glass of wine, including from a Sonoma Valley winery he co-founded in 2003.

Miles Webb

Head of Risk & Compliance

As Head of Risk & Compliance, Miles is responsible for monitoring the overall risk profile of Taulia and ensuring that the organization conducts its business processes in compliance with laws and regulations, professional standards, international standards, and accepted business practices – enabling Taulia to continue to grow with confidence.

Miles brings over 20 years of experience in banking and financial services, holding senior risk management roles at Visa and Silicon Valley Bank. He also has extensive international experience, covering US, Europe and emerging markets. Prior to joining Taulia, Miles was the Chief Operating Officer at Unifimoney, an early stage wealth management startup.

When not managing risks, Miles enjoys puttering in his garden, playing golf and spending time hiking or at the beach with his family.

Joan Buse

Head of Corporate Strategy

Joan runs Taulia’s strategy function, where she is responsible for driving growth. Her projects focus on sizing and structuring new opportunities, specifically those related to innovation and market expansion. She also runs the team of supporting staff to the CEO and CSO.

Prior to this role, Joan was chief of staff to the CEO. She holds a BA in History from Bates College.

Steve DiGioia

Vice President, Services

As Vice President of Taulia’s global service organization, Steve oversees the Services Operations, Professional Services, Enterprise Automation, and Technical Services teams. These teams are responsible for implementing and supporting Taulia’s customers, with a focus on accelerating and maximizing customers’ path to credible and significant ROI. Prior to joining Taulia, Steve was Vice President of Professional Services at GT Nexus for 16 years, where he built the services organization from the start-up phase to full maturity.

He started his career in international logistics in sales and operational roles with Nippon Yusen Kaisha (NYK) and K Line before moving into management of Mid-Atlantic operations. Steve holds a BSBA degree in Marketing and Management from the University of Richmond Robins School of Business.

Steve is an avid boater and can be found on the pickleball court, bike riding, and enjoying time with his family.
