Introduction
Taulia and our third party partners, such as our advertising and analytics partners, use various technologies to collect information, such as cookies.
What types of technologies do we use?
Taulia’s websites contain first party Cookies. First party cookies are cookies that are specific to the website that created them. These cookies enable Taulia to operate an efficient service and to track patterns of user behavior to Taulia’s website.
1. Cookies
Cookies are small files that a site or its service provider transfers to your computer’s hard drive through your Web browser (if you allow) that enables the sites or service providers systems to recognize your browser and capture and remember certain information.
We use cookies that allow us to recognize your browser and capture and store certain information to provide you with secure access to the data and documents you are entitled to view. We have control over these cookies and they underlie our Privacy Policy. In order to be effective, we link the information we store in cookies to your user ID (email address if you have provided it to us).
Our service providers only use cookies that are not tied to Personal Information. The use of cookies by our service providers is not covered by our privacy statement. We do not have access or control over these cookies.
If you wish to disable cookies, or if you wish to browse our websites privately/anonymously/incognito, your web browser can be configured to do this.
2. Clear Gifs
We use clear gifs to better manage content on our site by informing us what content is effective. In contrast to cookies, which are stored on a user’s computer hard drive, clear gifs are embedded invisibly on Web pages and are about the size of the period at the end of this sentence. We do not tie the information gathered by clear gifs to our customer’s Personal Information.
Our integrated third party service providers use clear gifs in our HTML-based emails to let us know which emails have been opened by recipients. This allows us to gauge the effectiveness of certain communications and the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns.
3.Log Files
As is true of most websites, we use third party tracking-utility partners to gather certain information automatically and store it in log files. This information includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp, and click stream data.
We use this information to analyze trends, to administer the site, to track users’ movements around the site and to gather demographic information about our user base as a whole.
4. Social Media Features and Widgets
Our websites includes social media features, such as the Facebook Like button, widgets, and the Share button or interactive mini-programs that run on our site. These features may collect your IP address, which page you are visiting on our site, and may set a cookie to enable the feature to function properly. Social media features and widgets are either hosted by a third party or hosted directly on our websites. Your interactions with these Features are governed by the privacy policy of the company providing it.
How do we use cookies?
We want you to be in a position to make an informed decision for or against the use of cookies which are not absolutely necessary for the website’s technical features.
To enable you to select the data protection settings for your visits to our website that best suit your requirements, we give you the option below of adjusting your preferences with respect to the categories strictly necessary, for preference, for statistics and Marketing Cookies.
- Necessary cookies help make a website usable by enabling basic functions like page navigation and access to secure areas of the website. The website cannot function properly without these cookies.
- Preference cookies enable a website to remember information that changes the way the website behaves or looks, like your preferred language or the region that you are in.
- Statistic cookies help website owners to understand how visitors interact with websites by collecting and reporting information anonymously.
- Marketing cookies are used to track visitors across websites. The intention is to display ads that are relevant and engaging for the individual user and thereby more valuable for publishers and third party advertisers.
