Cedric Bru is President and CEO of Taulia, the Fintech company revolutionizing cash flows and supplier financing. He has more than 20 years of experience and a proven executive management track in financial services and technology companies like Visa and Hewlett-Packard.

Cedric holds an MBA from UC Berkeley Haas School of Business. In addition to his dedication to his career, Cedric is passionate about his family, art, and a good game of rugby, tennis, or golf. 

Francois Coetzee

Project, Bank and Cash Manager // Sasol

Francois Coetzee is a professional accountant whose significant experience in business and technical competency has allowed him to lead various continuous improvement projects and operational activities with great success.

Francois joined Sasol Limited in 2004 and worked in different roles within the Finance, Compliance, Information Management & Supply Chain Fraternities

Francois in his current role as Project, Bank & Cash Manager have been tasked with leading continuous improvement projects in the Operational Banking & Accounts Payable business processes for Sasol Group.

Esen Convenden 

Global Working Capital Optimisation Manager - Payments // Anglo American

With a career spanning over 17 years within Anglo American, Esen has worked in many financial roles from the operating companies of Anglo American up to the corporate level setting strategy & working capital targets. Esen currently sits within the Supply Chain department with his primary role being that of optimizing the working capital payments section of the balance sheet. Esen will take you through his journey within Anglo American and highlight a few key learnings and success stories that he has encountered within his working capital portfolio.

Bruce Whitfield – HOST

Financial Journalist

Bruce is a multi-platform award-winning financial journalist whose interesting and engaging presentation makes money matters accessible to a broad audience.

Bruce graduated with a Bachelor of Journalism degree from Rhodes University and has been practicing as a journalist for over two decades.

He has been named Sanlam Financial journalist of the Year an impressive three times and has won numerous category awards during his career recognizing the strong contribution he makes to a better public understanding of the role of business and the economy in shaping our lives. He has also been an overall winner of the Citadel Words on Money Awards and was recognized as country winner in the global Citi Financial Journalist of the Year Award in 2009 which saw him extend his education at the famed Columbia Journalism School in New York.

In addition to his demanding public speaking and facilitation roles, Bruce presents the daily Money Show on 702 and Cape Talk, a weekly high-level television show on eNCA and writes regularly for Business Insider.co.za.

Maex is Greensill's Vice Chairman of Product and Technology. Prior to joining Greensill, Maex co-founded Taulia, which along with Greensill has revolutionized the way businesses pay their suppliers. Taulia and Greensill have worked together since 2012 to redefine working capital finance and to unlock affordable access to cash for millions of suppliers.

Maex began his career leading and developing SAP’s payment engine, which enables fast, secure payments to millions of suppliers and employees globally.

He also co-founded Centrifuge, a blockchain start-up with a mission to connect the global financial supply chain, where he remains a board member and adviser.
